About the Role
A hands-on buying role with full ownership of a distinctive homewares offer across textiles, décor, soft furnishings, lighting and furniture. You'll blend own-brand development with bought-in product to create eclectic, story-led ranges. Creative, fast-paced and ideal for someone who enjoys autonomy.
Key Responsibilities
*
Develop commercial, inspiring ranges across multiple home categories.
*
Lead own-brand product development (textiles preferred) and off-the-shelf sourcing.
*
Manage global suppliers, negotiating cost, MOQs and delivery.
*
Own the critical path and place orders in line with forecasts.
*
Maintain accurate product data and analyse performance.
*
Collaborate with Creative, Digital, Marketing and Photography teams.
*
Support wholesale and marketplace presentations.
*
Lead and develop a Buyers Assistant.
Person Specification
Essential
*
Minimum 3 years' buying experience in homewares, fashion or related products.
*
Product development and supplier management experience.
*
Strong commercial and analytical skills.
*
Confident negotiator with global sourcing exposure.
*
Multi-channel retail experience.
Desirable
*
Wholesale or marketplace experience.
*
Involvement in creative or digital product content.
*
Merchandisers with strong homewares knowledge seeking a buying role.
