We are seeking an experienced Compliance Officer with a strong background in apprenticeships to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who understands the regulatory landscape of apprenticeship programmes and is passionate about maintaining high standards of compliance and quality.

Key Responsibilities

* Ensure full compliance with apprenticeship funding rules and regulatory requirements
* Monitor and audit learner files, ensuring accuracy and completeness
* Support internal teams with compliance guidance and best practice
* Prepare for and support external audits (e.g. ESFA, Ofsted)
* Identify risks and implement corrective actions where necessary
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of apprenticeship standards and funding rules
* Produce compliance reports and provide insights to senior stakeholders

Key Requirements

* Proven experience working in a compliance role within apprenticeships
* Strong knowledge of ESFA funding rules and apprenticeship frameworks/standards
* Experience preparing for audits and inspections
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence and advise stakeholders
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
