AI Implementation Project Manager- Manchester/Hybrid- 6 Months- £55-£60 PAYE
A global leader is looking for an experienced AI Implementation Project Managerto join their team on an initial 6 month assignment. The successful candidate will help scale and rollout specific AI agents and processes that will help foster greater efficiency, creativity and outputs across all communications capabilities- from external comms to content creation and data led decision making.
Responsibilities:
* Governance and Structure: Deliver clear AI governance / guideline for Global Communications (with backing from the Global Communications leadership team); define a stakeholder map to support how Global Communications builds its AI roadmap
* Use Cases and Prioritization: Drive prioritization of high-impact AI use cases across Global Communications, conduct immediate assessment of tailored AI tools, and develop a rapid implementation plan.
* Implementation: Work with IT and communications colleagues to develop and implement agreed agents and workflows, while using agreed success metrics to inform further use cases.
* Training and Upskilling: Define, lead and launch a training program in Q1 2026 to build fluency and confidence among colleagues, share knowledge and learnings, invite in outside perspectives on a quarterly basis to share insights from other organizations, and drive the mindset shift.
* Change champions: Mobilize and lead a group of 'AI accelerators' and change champions in Global Communications to foster a culture of curiosity and collaboration, ensuring accountability and empowering colleagues to focus on high-value activities.
Skills/ Experience:
* Skilled project manager, with at least 10 years experience, ideally within large multinational organisations
* Experience implementing AI initiatives at an organizational level
* Understanding and comfort working with a global matrix organization
* Familiarity and fluency working with IT and Corporate Communications; experience managing transformation and change in an organization is also valuable.
* Ability to partner closely with the Head of AI Strategy for Global Communications and Head of Content & Storytelling
* Closely collaborate with various communication leaders in the Business Units, Functions, and Regions to understand their processes and needs where AI can help accelerate, automate and amplify the work being done in the organization
* Good presentation and communication skills, able to assimilate information from a variety of stakeholders, and unite colleagues around a common purpose.
