Last updated: March 08, 2023
Huntress’ policies are approved by the board of directors and ensure that there is transparency in our business and demonstrate our commitment to ensuring we conduct our business in an ethically and legally compliant manner.
OUR BUSINESS
Huntress is a long established recruitment company founded in 2000 providing recruitment solutions including supplying both temporary and permanent workers. We recruit for a diverse range of clients and manage relationships at various levels of the recruitment chain. We operate from branches across the country specialising in Office Support, Accounting & Finance, IT, and Legal.
We are also members of the leading UK trade bodies the REC and APSCo, both of which require us to maintain high levels of ethical standards in all our business dealings including with clients and candidates as part of our membership.
This policy is available to all our employees, as well as clients and candidates on our website.
OUR POLICY
At Huntress we pride ourselves on keeping our promises and delivering the best possible service to all our customers.
We conduct our business taking into account the following principles to help our employees make the right decisions:
-
integrity,
-
fairness,
-
trustworthiness,
-
accountability,
-
and respect for others.
We believe that by conducting business ethically and in full compliance with our legal obligations, we are in a stronger position to create trust and build lasting partnerships with clients and candidates throughout their careers.
OUR VALUES
We have a proactive approach to implementing our values across the business. These are supported by various policies that deal with fraud, bribery and tax evasion and are ingrained in our day to day conduct, ensuring that all employees are aware that breaching any of these values can result in disciplinary action being taken. We continually review these policies and carry out risk assessments where necessary.
Guidance and training is provided as part of our induction and continual development programme on our values and respective policies setting out what is expected of our employees and how they can bring any concerns they have to the attention of management.
Integrity - We hold ourselves to act in a professional manner by creating an environment that is respectful and empowering, where individuals are motivated to do their best.
Fairness - We do not engage in anti-competitive behaviour to gain a commercial advantage. Whether its recruiting for our own employees or finding candidates for our clients, we always seek to put the best candidates forward based on their knowledge, experience and technical expertise.
Trustworthiness - Candidates and clients trust us with their personal information. We make sure to treat it confidentially and in line with data protection regulations as if it were our own.
Accountability - It is important for us to act in the best interest of the company. In addition to ensuring we are compliant with our legal and regulatory obligations, we also need to make objective decisions and employees are required to report any potential conflicts of interest.
Respect for others - We seek to apply the Universal Declaration on Human Rights, particularly Articles 23 and 24 which relate to employment. We also know that our employees support a wide range of charitable causes, that’s why in addition to company-wide initiatives that support our employees and our wider community, we also support fundraising by our employees for causes that are important to them.
