Job Title: Site Manager
Location: Godalming, Surrey
Salary: c. £60,000 - £70,000
Job Type: Permanent, Full time
A well-established residential developer is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee new build housing projects in the Godalming area. The successful candidate will take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Managing all on-site activities from inception through to completion
* Supervising subcontractors and site staff
* Ensuring health & safety standards are consistently met
* Monitoring build progress against programme deadlines
* Maintaining quality control and resolving any site issues
* Liaising with senior management and other stakeholders
* Conducting regular site meetings and reporting on progress
What we are looking for:
* Proven experience as a Site Manager within residential housebuilding
* Strong knowledge of construction processes, NHBC standards, and health & safety regulations
* Ability to manage multiple trades and maintain programme schedules
* Excellent leadership and communication skills
* Relevant qualifications (SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid etc)
