People Manager
Monday-Friday, 9am-5:30pm

We are recruiting for our well-established client in Loughton, who are seeking a People Manager to join the team.
The main focus of this role is to manage and support employees, ensuring they are engaged, productive, and aligned with the company's goals. You will play a key role in fostering a positive work environment while driving employee development and career progression.
Duties will include:
* Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
* Advise the Board and Senior Managers on organisational design, workforce planning, culture and talent
* Lead organisational change initiatives and transformation programmes
* Lead, coach and develop the HR team
* Manage the recruitment and selection process to attract and retain top talent including but not limited to vetting and fitness to practice
* Ensure effective succession planning for key roles and develop workforce plans aligned with future business requirements
* Maintain pay plan and benefits program, including overseeing and making recommendations on compensation and benefits programmes
* Support the Board with salary reviews and annual bonus review process, including bench-marking against market trends
* Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs
* Ensure compliance with employment and related legislation, internal policies and procedures and regulatory requirements, throughout human resources management
* Support managers with Employee Relation cases, managing grievances and disciplinary processes
* Supporting colleagues and the wider department to ensure department aims are achieved
* Manage the day-to-day operations of the HR office, ensuring efficient workflow and communication
* Develop, implement, and monitor conduct, diversity and inclusion including owning related policies and procedures and learning and development
* Identify key conduct or diversity issues and propose solutions to promote equality and fairness.
* Build strong relationships across all business function including but not limited to with the Board and Senior managers
Experience required:
* CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development) Level 5 or above
* Human Resource's degree or equivalent
* Proven working experience as a People Manager
* Demonstrated success in developing and driving forward people and leadership strategies
* Experience in advising Board and senior management
* Experience in leadership of organisational change and transformation
* Experience and strong knowledge of employee relations and employment law
* Knowledge of HR systems and databases with demonstrable experience with Human Resources metrics
* People-oriented and results-driven with strong emotional intelligence
* Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
