Part Time - Accounts Assistant - 16 hours per week
Huntress are working with an established global business who are looking for a Part Time Accounts Assistant. This role involves managing day-to-day transactions and assisting with month-end processes,
Key Responsibilities
* Process purchase invoices, expenses, and intercompany transactions in Xero
* Manage sales and purchase ledgers and chase outstanding payments
* Reconcile bank accounts and transactions
* Prepare payment runs (BACS, international, payroll)
* Support month-end processes including accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations
* Assist with cost of sales, stock, and royalty calculations
* Prepare reports, forecasts, and variance analysis
* Support VAT returns, audits, and statutory accounts
About You
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Well organised with good time management
* Confident communicator, able to handle queries
* AAT qualified (or equivalent experience)
Desirable:
* Experience with Xero or similar systems
* Knowledge of foreign currencies and/or stock management
