Operations & HR Coordinator
East Grinstead | £38,000-£40,000 DOE | Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Are you an experienced Administrator or Coordinator who enjoys a varied role where no two days are the same?
We're recruiting for an Operations & HR Coordinator to join an established organisation in East Grinstead. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys being involved in all aspects of a business, from HR and facilities through to health and safety, compliance and general operations.
Working closely with the senior management team, you'll play an important role in keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes. It's a busy, hands-on position with plenty of variety, responsibility and the opportunity to really make a difference.
What you'll be doing:
*
Coordinating HR administration including recruitment, onboarding, employee records, contracts and absence management
*
Monitoring staff training, inductions and compliance requirements
*
Supporting the management team with day-to-day operations, reporting and improvement projects
*
Overseeing facilities administration, liaising with contractors and coordinating maintenance activities
*
Maintaining health and safety records, risk assessments and statutory documentation
*
Supporting audits, inspections and regulatory compliance requirements
*
Managing policies, procedures and confidential documentation
*
Coordinating meetings, preparing reports and providing general administrative support to the wider management team
What we're looking for:
*
Previous experience in HR, operations, facilities or a similar administrative/coordinating role
*
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to juggle multiple responsibilities and priorities
*
Experience working within a regulated or compliance-focused environment
*
A good understanding of HR processes and employment administration
*
Strong attention to detail and confidence managing confidential information
*
A proactive, practical approach with the ability to work independently and use initiative
*
Excellent communication skills and a positive, approachable manner
*
CIPD Level 3 or equivalent HR experience would be advantageous
Experience within a healthcare or medical environment would be an advantage, although this isn't essential. We're equally interested in candidates from other regulated environments who can bring strong organisational skills and a broad administrative background.
What's on offer?
This is a great opportunity to take on a genuinely varied role where you'll be involved in several areas of the business rather than focusing on just one. You'll work closely with senior management, have the opportunity to take ownership of your responsibilities and become an integral part of a friendly, professional team.
If you're an organised, capable all-rounder who enjoys getting stuck in and keeping things running smoothly, we'd love to hear from you.
Apply today or get in touch to find out more.
N.B Due to the location of the role, your will need your own transport.
