HR Assistant (Part-Time - 4 Days per Week)
9.00am - 5.00pm | Hybrid Working (1 day from home)
We're working with a well-established, highly regarded professional services business that is looking to appoint an HR Assistant to join its friendly and supportive team.
This is a varied, hands-on role within a small HR function. It would suit someone who enjoys being at the heart of a busy team, getting involved across the full employee lifecycle, and building strong relationships across the business.
The role will involve:
* Acting as a first point of contact for general HR queries, providing guidance on policies and procedures
* Supporting onboarding and offboarding processes, including contracts, referencing and inductions
* Assisting with recruitment coordination and general HR administration
* Maintaining accurate employee records and HR systems, ensuring GDPR compliance
* Supporting performance review and appraisal processes
* Liaising with payroll providers and assisting with payroll-related queries
* Contributing to HR projects, audits and continuous improvement initiatives
About you:
* Previous HR experience within a busy environment
* Good understanding of employment legislation and HR best practice
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail
* Confident communicator, able to build relationships at all levels
* Comfortable using HR systems and Microsoft Office/SharePoint
