An exciting opportunity is available for a Recruitment Administrator to join a well-established professional services organisation in Leeds, supporting a busy and collaborative HR team.
This is an ideal opportunity for a graduate with 6-12 months' administration, recruitment, resourcing or customer-focused experience who is looking to build a career within HR and recruitment. Full recruitment experience is not essential as full training and support will be provided.
The Role
Working closely with the Recruitment Manager, you will support the recruitment process across the organisation, from advertising vacancies and screening applications through to arranging interviews and onboarding new employees.
Responsibilities will include:
* Monitoring recruitment inboxes and responding to candidate enquiries
* Screening applications and assisting with shortlisting
* Maintaining accurate recruitment records and HR systems
* Advertising vacancies across job boards and social media
* Assisting with the preparation of job descriptions and specifications
* Coordinating interviews, assessments and meetings
* Arranging Teams interviews and booking meeting rooms
* Liaising with candidates, hiring managers and external recruitment agencies
* Coordinating recruitment agency information and CV submissions
* Supporting careers fairs and recruitment events
* Assisting with graduate, trainee and internship recruitment campaigns
* Supporting assessment centres and candidate testing
* Maintaining accurate candidate records and recruitment statistics
* Carrying out Right to Work, reference and DBS checks
* Supporting the onboarding process for new starters
* Ensuring recruitment documentation is managed in line with GDPR requirements
About You
The successful candidate will have:
* A 2:1 degree or equivalent
* Ideally 6-12 months' experience in administration, recruitment, resourcing, customer service or a professional office environment
* Excellent organisation and administration skills
* Strong attention to detail
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Confidence dealing with people at all levels
* Strong Microsoft Office skills
* The ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
* A proactive, enthusiastic and positive approach
* Confidence working independently while being a strong team player
* A genuine interest in developing a career within recruitment and HR
