Geography Graduate Role

We are recruiting for an Environmental Assistant based near Maidstone. This is a full-time, on-site role offered on a 6-month temporary contract. The position involves regular site visits, therefore applicants must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to their own vehicle.

Key Responsibilities:

* Support environmental performance projects and strategy delivery
* Assist with material sampling and assessment (Street Works UK protocol)
* Respond to environmental incidents in line with regulatory guidance
* Support biodiversity monitoring and environmental impact assessments
* Collect environmental data and produce summary reports
* Assist with ecological surveys alongside licensed specialists

Skills & Experience Required:

* Degree in Environmental Science, Geography, Geology, or a related field (or relevant practical experience)
* Understanding of environmental compliance and biodiversity principles
* Strong data collection, analytical, and reporting skills
* Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail
* Competent in Microsoft Office
* Full UK driving licence
