We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Claims Inspector. This role is responsible for inspecting, assessing, and processing warranty claims, ensuring all assessments are completed accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have hands-on automotive experience and a strong technical understanding of vehicle components and systems.
Key Responsibilities
* Inspect and assess warranty claims in line with company procedures
* Accurately process claims within agreed timescales
* Prepare detailed technical rejection reports to a high standard and within required deadlines
* Identify, investigate, and report product-related technical issues where necessary
* Communicate professionally with customers and stakeholders regarding warranty matters
* Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the claims process
Skills & Experience Required
* Level 3 NVQ (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
* Previous hands-on experience working with vehicles
* Genuine interest in and enthusiasm for the automotive industry
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word
* GCSEs (Grade C or above) or equivalent qualifications
* Strong attention to detail and excellent written communication skills
