Bid & Tender Coordinator
Help shape winning bids for a growing engineering business.
Are you an organised administrator with exceptional attention to detail? Do you enjoy coordinating multiple projects, working to deadlines and being part of a commercial team that wins business?
We're working with an established engineering organisation that is looking to strengthen its commercial support team with the appointment of a Bid & Tender Coordinator.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful business where you'll play a key role in preparing professional quotations, coordinating tender submissions and supporting the sales team to secure new contracts.
The Opportunity
Working closely with commercial, technical and operational colleagues, you'll coordinate the end-to-end administration of quotations and tenders, ensuring submissions are accurate, compliant and delivered on time.
This is a varied role that would suit someone who enjoys organisation, document management and working across multiple departments.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and coordinate quotations, tenders and bid submissions.
* Review tender documentation to identify key requirements and submission deadlines.
* Liaise with internal departments to gather pricing, technical information and supporting documentation.
* Ensure all submissions are accurate, compliant and completed on time.
* Maintain quotation and tender records, ensuring documentation is well organised and up to date.
* Monitor tender portals for new opportunities.
* Track bid outcomes and support post-award contract handovers.
* Assist with supplier pricing and commercial information gathering.
* Support the wider sales team with administrative activities as required.
* Maintain high levels of confidentiality when handling commercial information.
About You
You'll be an organised and proactive administrator who enjoys working in a busy commercial environment.
Ideally, you'll have:
* Experience within bid administration, tender support, quotations, sales support or commercial administration.
* Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
* Outstanding attention to detail.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.
* The ability to work collaboratively with technical and commercial teams.
What's on Offer?
* Join a successful and growing engineering business.
* Varied role supporting commercially important projects.
* Friendly and collaborative working environment.
* Opportunities to develop your career.
* Competitive salary and benefits package.
If you're looking for a role where your organisation, attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines can make a real commercial impact, we'd love to hear from you.
