ABOUT THE ROLE
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established business within the distribution sector who are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Account Manager to join their growing team.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys building strong client relationships, managing accounts effectively, and delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will act as a key point of contact for clients and support the wider sales and operations teams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Manage a portfolio of existing customer accounts and maintain strong working relationships
* Respond to customer enquiries and provide ongoing support throughout the account lifecycle
* Process orders, quotations, and account updates accurately using internal systems
* Work closely with internal departments to ensure smooth service delivery
* Identify opportunities to upsell and support business growth where appropriate
* Maintain accurate customer records and account information
* Provide administrative support to the wider team as required
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
* Previous experience within account management, customer service, sales support, or a similar role
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
* Confident using Microsoft Office and internal CRM systems
* A proactive and professional approach with strong attention to detail
* Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
