Although today is a great excuse to celebrate our 2* Best companies’ status, the emphasis on employee engagement is at the heart of EVERYthing we do.
At Huntress, we have recently launched our 5-year vision which is ‘to become the highest rated, mid-sized recruitment company in the best companies to work for by 2025. The ‘best companies’ accreditation measures how engaged people are at work and how they feel about their employer.
As the business continues to evolve, this is of even greater importance. In the last two years alone we have added several specialist recruitment brands to our portfolio, Blackthorn Trace (Cyber Security recruitment), Hunter Merrifield (recruitment within the Not for Profit sector) and Birchrose Associates (Private Practice, Legal recruitment). Due to the success of launching and developing these new brands, we are already planning the next phase of our expansion in identifying new and exciting markets and investing in the growth of our core Huntress business. This enables our people, and those looking to join us, to play a key role in the next phase of our expansion.
‘Our ambitious vision focusses on the difference the company can make to the lives and careers of its people. We spent months asking groups of our people, our clients and our customers what they liked and disliked in a recruitment business and in turn what they valued. After taking this on board we decided to focus our vision on our people, which will no doubt have a positive impact on our clients and candidates too. If they are working with consultants who are highly engaged and motivated, they will receive an outstanding service.
The first part of our vision means that we need to reach a headcount of 250+ employees. We will be working on increasing the number of people we hire into the business as well as retaining the talent we already have. The second part of our vision is to meet the 3* Best companies to work for status across all 8 categories and rank as the highest recruitment business in this list by 2025.
The leadership team will spend the next 5 years, and beyond, focusing on developing, inspiring and supporting our people. To ensure that the business is deserving of its 3* status.’
