HR Coordinator

Salary: £32,000 - £34,000

Location: North Acton

Role: Office Based

Hours: 8am-5pm or 9am-6pm

Join a well-established and successful company in the automotive industry as a HR Coordinator, based in North Acton. In this key role, you will support daily HR operations, including Employee Relations, Recruitment, and Payroll. Our client is seeking an experienced HR Coordinator with comprehensive HR knowledge, who is capable of working independently but will get some support from the Payroll Officer.


* Handle first-line queries on disciplinary, grievance, and absence management
* Manage relationships with external legal advisors and handle renewals
* Process employee requests (flexible working, maternity, paternity) and administer benefits
* Ensure compliance with legal reporting requirements (Gender Pay Gap, Modern Slavery)
* Identify and implement HR process improvements and update policies
* Collaborate with the Training team to enhance employee and manager skills
* Maintain and audit employee records for legal compliance
* Archive personnel and payroll data in accordance with GDPR
* Support recruitment, selection, and onboarding of new employees
* Assist with weekly payroll processing using Sage 50
* Undertake additional tasks and projects as needed

Requirements of the chosen HR Coordinator will include:

* 2-3 years of HR Generalist experience
* Experience working in an SME company
* CIPD qualification at least Level 3 or equivalent experience
* Proficient in using ATS systems
* Strong understanding of HR best practices and employment law
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities
* Confident in challenging decisions when necessary
* Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
