Global Events Specialist
(CVENT experience required)
Join our team as a Global Events Specialist, supporting Global Events Managers in delivering engaging in-person and virtual events. You'll manage the full event life cycle, from concept to post-event analysis, with a focus on client engagement and thought leadership. We seek a detail-oriented, agile candidate who can lead individual events and assist with strategic initiatives. A client-focused approach and passion for creating memorable experiences are essential.
Responsibilities:
* Lead and support conferences, industry events, and digital programs across various geographies and segments.
* Ensure project plans and deadlines are met across all event work streams and stakeholders.
* Assist in sourcing venues for events.
* Create registration sites in Cvent for live and virtual programs.
* Manage event logistics, including F&B, rooming lists, production, giveaways, transportation, signage, badging, and awards.
* Oversee vendor management and post-event reconciliation, measurement, and reporting.
* Support internal and external communications.
* Manage invoicing, payment processes, and event budget tracking.
Skills/Experience:
* 2+ years of relevant experience
* Strong project management and multi-tasking skills
* Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
* Capable of working autonomously and collaboratively
* Proactive with excellent interpersonal skills
* Effectively manage high-pressure interactions with stakeholders
* Experience with Cvent and virtual event platforms (Microsoft Teams, Webex, Zoom)
* Enjoys working with international teams and exploring various business areas
* Willing to assist with manual tasks during event setup and teardown
* Open to travel and occasional evening or weekend work
