Salary: £45,000 - £55,000

Location: Farringdon, City of London

Hybrid: 2 days in the office / 3 days working from home

Join a leading management consultancy and recruitment practice in the public and not-for-profit sectors! We're urgently seeking a Bid Writer in Farringdon to coordinate and craft high-quality bids, supporting our client's growth. This position is available as either a permanent role or a 6-month contract, with the potential for extension if offered on a contract basis.

Responsibilities of the chosen Bid Writer will include:

* Coordinate all bid and tender processes
* Liaise with senior staff and freelance associates for input
* Advise on project methodology and resource allocation
* Ensure timely submissions of high-quality bids
* Maintain bid log and update case study database
* Support performance and business reporting
* Participate in pitch meetings and prepare presentations
* Cultivate external relationships to enhance bidding opportunities
* Monitor competitor strategies and stay updated on best practices

Requirements for the position include:

* Degree level education or equivalent
* Proven success in writing winning bids
* Strong understanding of bid and tender-writing processes
* Insight into bids for local government, charities, or social housing
* Excellent project management skills
* Competent in preparing budgets and pricing schedules
* Knowledge of social policy in housing, regeneration, social care, and health is a plus
* Proficient in MS Office applications, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook
