Hot topics in Employment Law 2021

Date: Thursday 22nd April, 2021
Time: 12:00pm - 1:00pm

Huntress is pleased to invite you to our first legal webinar of 2021, ‘Hot Topics in Employment Law,’ in partnership with employment law experts Burges Salmon LLP.

2020: a year that none of us will forget. HR professionals faced a whirlwind of new challenges, from grappling with the complexities of the furlough scheme, managing the workforce shift to homeworking or having the difficult task of making redundancies. However, whilst COVID-19 has taken centre stage, cases have continued to be heard in our (sometimes virtual) tribunals and courts. In addition, whilst much of the expected new legislation has stalled, there are still important changes coming up in 2021.

Topics covered will include:
• The ‘need to know’ employment cases from 2020
• Trending topics
     • The top Covid questions crossing our desks;
     • Brexit: employment law implications
     • The UK’s new immigration regime
• AppealWatch: the ‘hot’ employment cases for 2021
• On the Horizon: a round-up of new developments for 2021
• Q & A
