GDPR - 10 Tasks to Ensure Compliance
Huntress is pleased to invite you to our complimentary Seminar on Tuesday 7th November in collaboration with Doyle Clayton Solicitors.
Piers Leigh-Pollitt, a solicitor and expert in data protection and employment law, will be speaking about the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which will be coming into force in May of next year.
He will provide a general introduction to the GDPR, explaining key concepts such as the requirement for fair, lawful and transparent processing of personal data and what this means for businesses, explaining when consent will and won’t be required, and how to respond to complaints and breaches of security.
He will then take you through a list of ten tasks you need to implement to ensure compliance with the GDPR. There will then be an opportunity for questions and answers at the end of the session.
