Corporate Social Responsibility

At Huntress we are passionate about giving back. Feedback from our Best Companies surveys in recent years taught us that our employees wanted an opportunity take part in Huntress’s Corporate and Social Responsibility and make a real impact, not just with the company and the environment but with local communities who need our help and support. This is why we created the Huntress CSR Committee.

The committee is headed up and organised entirely by volunteer teams from across the business – anyone can be involved and contribute. All members take an active part in their team’s activities and plans – anything from coming up with a great idea, to planning a charity fundraising event, to coordinating support for our selected local communities.

The charity team coordinates all our fundraising activities for Huntress’s nominated charity. Our chosen not-for-profit organisation to support in 2016, voted by everyone at Huntress, is Macmillan Cancer Support, but we are involved in a wealth of fundraising activities for other local charities and communities, just take a look at our fundraising page.

This group is vital in helping us reduce waste, encourage more recycling and sustainability in the business and impacts our choice of suppliers and partners. All ideas and ways to improve how we affect the environment as a business are welcome.

Local communities

As a successful business we should feel a duty to give back and support our local communities in any way we can. This group involves Huntress in activities that support and help local groups including offering our expertise to people get back into work (CV writing workshops, interview techniques) as well as contributing local food banks.

The Social group organises team building events integrating the various divisions within business. This function within the committee helps bring all of Huntress together as one big team and have a bit of fun!

The Wellbeing team has a proactive focus on encouraging engagement with our health and wellbeing at work through challenges, competitions, activities and tips for everyone.
