**SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER - £40K - £50K DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE - LARGE AVIATION COMPANY LOCATED IN HAMPSHIRE**
Our client has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Supply Chain Manager located in Hampshire.
The role will involve leading a team of 10 people overseeing the direct and indirect supply of materials into the site, annual material spend, meeting cost out targets and supplier relationships through the management of the Purchasing and Materials Planning Function.
As Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for the development and implementation of supply chain strategies throughout a global enterprise to reduce costs.
Other Duties will Include:
.Responsible for ERP conformity and accuracy of data to ensure strong materials planning and inventory management to meet production requirements.
.Manage the whole supply chain to ensure minimum inventory but still maintain consistent customer performance.
.Drive Lean supply methods to improve performance across all the functions
.Drive savings initiatives in line with profit plan
.Manage material cost and schedule impacts of proposed engineering changes in addition to taking necessary actions to ensure successful implementation and incorporation of approved engineering releases.
. Develop and implement commodity strategies in line with Corporate, Divisional, Site, SRM and Mfg initiatives to improve supply chain efficiencies and reduce the total cost of supply chain management.
.Manage the ongoing development and correct usage of the MFG Pro MRP system.
.Ensure inventory accuracy through improved stock management systems.
.Drive inventory reduction through better use of the ERP system.
.Train Supply Chain personnel on Strategic Sourcing processes & ensures compliance.
.Ensure appropriate performance, measure (Quality, Cost and Delivery) of supply base and feedback results.
The ideal candidate will be have a thorough understanding of Supply Chain Management including operational concepts surrounding production planning, inventory control, purchasing, logistics, stockroom operations, and shipping/receiving within the Aviation industry. It is vital that you are able to work within a structured and process driven environment and have excellent relationship building skills. It would be a distinct advantage if you are educated to Degree level, CIPS qualified yet it is also vital that they you have expert knowledge of MRP/ERP.
