Position: Billings Specialist
Salary: Up to £29,000
Are you an analytical and organised candidate with excellent communication and customer service skills? My client, a successful and growing company offering a range of high-tech mobile applications and gateways, is currently recruiting for a Billings and Collections Specialist.
In this comfortably busy role, you will be responsible for accurately processing customer credits following the correct procedures and processes, liaising with sales and management on a variety of issues, preparing billing and collections reports, and processing credit card payments and refunds. You will also be responding to enquiries from internal and external customers, documenting daily collections activities, proactively resolving accounts with collection issues, identifying bad debt and delinquent accounts and reviewing, preparing, and analysing reports. Tracking and posting daily cash receipts in SageLine50 will be required however experience using Sage previously will not be essential.
Key skills required for this role will be strong verbal and written communication, customer service, organisation, working well under pressure, analytical skills, computer literacy (particularly Word and Excel), and proficiency in various software packages including payment and account systems and customer relationship management (CRM) software. You must be able to take direction well and work comfortably within a team; you will have strong attention to detail, a curious and positive attitude, and an enthusiasm for performing your role well. You will be able to work well independently in order to meet deadlines, escalate issues and communicate the status of various projects. Ideally, you will be degree-qualified (or equivalent) in accounting, finance, math or business, you will have commercial experience in Accounts Receivable, and will have worked in a busy, high growth atmosphere.
