Quality Assurance/Continuous Improvement Officer
Are you an experienced Quality Assurance Officer looking for a new challenge? We are looking for someone who can drive continuous improvement, improve customer satisfaction, identify and help remove inefficiencies from the business by the management and integration of quality.
The Role:
The role develops, co-ordinates and manages a set of procedures and processes that are applicable to all departments. These processes and procedures must be documented, controlled and evidence in place to ensure they are being followed as per ISO requirements. They encompass the need for quality, environmental and security awareness and continuous improvements to be a priority across the business and ensure all employees are aware of what is required from them to meet the ISO standards. The role should ensure that the management, development and improvement of the processes and procedures area are a focus and, are driven in conjunction with departmental managers
The role of Continuous Improvement Officer is critical to the business. This ensures that the three ISO standards are adhered to and continually monitored through successful internal and external auditing.
Who we're looking for:
Essential
• Proven ISO Experience – 9001/14001 & 27001
• IT experience
• Be able to acquire new knowledge, skills quickly and apply to business situations.
• Quick to learn, pick up, evaluate and audit new systems as required
• Auditing qualifications for ISO9001/14001//27001
• Analytical skills
• Plan, organise work effectively, prioritise and focus on matters of significance
• Maintain confidentiality and security of information at all times
• Project Planning and Resourcing experience
• Liaise effectively with external bodies
Desirable
• Stakeholder management experience
• Thorough knowledge of the current range company services.
• Knowledge of Microsoft based solutions and the Internet.
• Good problem solving skills and time management
• Provide complete accurate and concise record of audits and risk assessments
• Working knowledge of national codes, laws and regulations
• Plan and make use of resources available
• Worked for an organisation at a supervisory level for at least two years
• Associate Member of the Chartered Quality Institute
