    HR Advisor   apply for this job
    £9 - £11 per hour
    London

    We require an experienced HR Advisor to take on a maternity cover position with a leading Pharmaceuticals delivery company. This temporary position is expected to go for 9 - 12 months.

    £9 - £11 / hour

    Main Duties and Responsibilities:

    1. HR policies, procedures and best practice:
    - To ensure that all employees comply with company policies and procedures.
    - Assisting on projects including equal pay audit, market pay review, staff survey and other projects.
    - Facilitate and participate in Job Analysis, Job Evaluation and Job Matching in accordance with corporation and local procedures.

    2. HR Partnership:
    - To provide advice and guidance on employee relations issues, advising, interpreting and applying company policy and legislation to ensure consistent and fair decisions are implemented and to enable line managers to lead effectively.
    - To provide advice and guidance on all generalist HR issues including absence management, employee relations, recruitment, grievances, disciplinary and employment law.
    - To liaise with trainers on training requirement for new starters and existing employees.

    3. HR advice and employee relations support:
    - To establish and maintain effective communication with all employees on payroll, terms and conditions and other employment related issues.
    - Responsible for administering payroll.
    - Responsible for the generation and maintenance of accurate computerised and manual personnel records while complying with Data Protection Act.

    4. HR Management:
    - Proactively manage, and be responsible for the analysis and preparation of HR Management information reports on a range of topics such as sickness, absence, turnover, diversity, etc.
    - To work closely with HR colleagues to successfully develop administrative support on common projects.

    5. Recruitment:
    - To liaise with agencies and preferred suppliers, leading and coordinating recruitment campaigns.
    - Recruiting staff: this includes developing job descriptions, preparing advertisements, checking application forms, shortlisting, interviewing and selecting candidates for entry level roles.

    Other ad hoc projects and responsibilities will be required
