Housing Officer (12 Month Contract)

A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Housing Officer to complete a one year fixed term contract for a successful and professional Housing Association based in Medway.
The role of the Housing Officer will provide a first class locally based management service to tenants and leaseholders. Duties will include regular inspection, liaising with Environmental Services Section, processing transfer applications, banding and resolving any queries.
The successful candidate will have an understanding of current housing and estate management issues, be capable of receiving instructions and acting upon then in an unsupervised environment. You must be able to communicate effectively with the public at all levels as well as the ability to solve problems and issues.
A full driving licence and the use of a car for work purposes are essential for this position.
